If you are surely sure this is what you want, and what you are going to have to grant up in instruct to be an excellent physician, don't.
On the other hand, if you want to know what it feel to have "hand on" practice, take the course and volunteer for EMT. My brother did this and completed up being a Trauma Surgeon, since he like the speed at which situations evolve while attending trauma.

Go for EMT.
It takes more schooling to be a paramedic than an EMT. You can can get hold of your feet raining pretty good by individual an EMT.
Either one takes alot of hours and training and to preserve your certification up you enjoy to take continuing training classes. Seems like alot to shift through for no longer than you will be using it. (most places you have to be on so lots runs or put in a unshakable amount of hrs to keep certification)Paramedics are trained surrounded by the same item as EMT's but they can also start IV's and administer medication etc. If you are planning on being a nurse or something of that sort you might be interested within being a paramedic. But you usually don't see doctors giving fastidiousness and starting IV's in the ER. and that type of item. I guess it just depends on how surrounded by depth you want to get until that time you go to medical institution.
