Blood donations, I thought it be a quip but apparently not.?

Gay men are barred permanetly from donating blood. What do ya'll ruminate about this? See the cooperation below.

This unfortunately is another satchel of mythology backed by theological condemnation trumping science. Every mechanism dealing with blood supplies, most prominently the Red Cross, oppose the duration time ban. There are today sufficient test to protect the safety of the blood supply that be not available in 1983 when the impediment was originally imposed. To follow their logic they should also prohibit medical personnel dealing with HIV positive clients and lots others. But since homosexuals are the "bad guys" surrounded by this theologically charged debate we reduce the available blood supply. It is no different than the 1950s white start of getting a transfusion from a black person.
They are in recent times trying to keep the blood supply undamaging from AIDS. However, this is not a good track to do it, since so many non-gay nation have AIDS. Write to the affairs of state and voice your opinion!
Only gay men? Really unusual. Since they screen the blood anyway, I don't see why any full-bodied person shouldn't know how to donate.
