These are not narcotics. Narcotics are medication that are made from opium to controlled distress. Lorazepam (Ativan) is anti-depression, anti-anxiety drug. Alprazolam (Xanax) is also anti-anxiety drug. And Zolpidem (Ambien) is sleeping pill. However all these three requirement doctor's prescription.
